At the Growing Tree Family Daycare we believe that providing a child with a secure, loving and encouraging atmosphere will invoke the most virtuous characteristics within a child. Early childhood is a critical period for cognitive, biological and social development. Our mission at The Growing Tree is to optimize the development of each infant or toddler educationally, socially and emotionally by providing a safe, home-like atmosphere through interactive and learning play.

Hi, I'm Jill. Thank you for your interest in The Growing Tree Family Daycare! I have been working in childcare for nearly 8 years, assisting a friend in starting up an in-home daycare. I have a passion for working with children and helping families find peace of mind when it comes to choosing the perfect daycare for their children. My goal is to make The Growing Tree a welcoming and safe environment for all.
We understand that children need more than just someone to look after them. They need a caregiver with experience and a passion for working with children. At The Growing Tree Family Daycare we offer a safe and warm place for children to grow, learn and play. Read on to learn more about the services we offer the families who work with us.

Warm Family-like environment
We know how difficult it can be to place your child in the care of a stranger. That’s why we make it a priority to provide a warm environment with a family-like feel. We make sure your child receives the best possible care, so you can have peace of mind knowing that you have one less thing to worry about.
Age RANGE
We accept all ages, from infants to school-age children. Our curriculum and activities are crafted with normal childhood development stages in mind so that each child, no matter what the age, can have a safe and nurturing environment to enhance learning and growth.
Enriching Activities
Activity Time – An important part of the day will be spent expanding your child’s knowledge by offering hands-on activities to stimulate their intellect and fine-tune their motor skills. Combining play and learning is a fundamental tool we use to foster development.
Outdoor Exploration – Spending time outdoors is an integral part of the day at The Growing Tree. Our outdoor activities will keep your child entertained and our family garden will teach them nutrition and responsibility.
Free Play – The importance of play cannot be understated in terms of a healthy development for any child. Creating time throughout the day for children to engage in free play can assist in healthy brain development and can teach children to engage and interact in the world around them.
Individual growth and personal choice are essential in the healthy development of a child, and we believe our safe and enriching environment can foster a child’s natural curiosity. We believe that learning comes naturally when enjoyment is the goal, so we make sure to acknowledge and appreciate every child’s unique personality.
